Costa Rican painter, Fernando Obando's new exhibit in Santa Ana features a series of 11 self-portraits, but not just any self-portraits: Obando has painted himself in different time periods throughout history in order to explore how humanity reached its current state.
A women's fitness event hosted by Los Sueños Marriott Hotel will include with a 4-kilometer run along the golf course, ending at the beach; a 1-km trip on a standup paddle board; and a 60-minute yoga class by Krama Yoga Center in the hotel's gardens.
This year's Choreographers Festival features 16 live performances at the National Theater starting Thursday and ending Sunday. Choreographers and dancers will compete for awards in five categories.
