The original play shows three characters entering the afterlife: they are brought to a room together, which appears to be hell, and are locked inside by a mysterious valet. They gradually realize that they have been brought together as punishment: they will inevitably make each other miserable.
As part of the celebration of World Rivers Day, which this year will takes place on Sept. 27, the group Río Urbano is organizing the first edition of "Picnic on the River Costa Rica." The campaign's goal is to draw attention to rivers by reviving the tradition of picnicking along the banks.
The punk rock band will perform at El Sótano in Barrio Amón, San José, on Sept. 11, alongside the Costa Rican bands Overseas, The Movement in Codes and Diger, and Canadian musician Chris Snelgrove. Costa Rica is the first stop on Title Fight's Latin American tour.
The show, now being staged at Espressivo Theater in the eastern San José suburb of Curridabat, tells the story of a young pair of star-crossed lovers - at least, that's what they think they are.
