The Costa Rica women’s national soccer team beat Panama, 6-1, to begin the final round of Olympic qualifying Tuesday night.
After taking a one-goal lead into halftime, La Sele poured it on with three goals in a five-minute span midway through the second half.
It all began with Shirley Cruz’s sensational volley off a corner kick:

Moments later, Priscilla Chinchilla and Melissa Herrera added a tally each to put the game out of reach for Panama.

But Cruz’s goal? We’ll be watching that one on repeat until Costa Rica faces Haiti on Friday in the second match of the group stage.
