The climate surrounding Costa Rica’s Central Valley is perfect for growing Arabica coffee. Travel a few minutes from San José toward a mountain (or volcano) and you’re bound to find a cafetal, or coffee plantation.
The cafetal in the featured photo is north of Heredia near Cerro Dantas.
