The Security and Drug Trafficking Commission on Monday approved a motion to continue allowing citizens to own three guns, rather than adopting a reform that would have reduced the number to one.
President Carlos Alvarado praised the successful "megaoperativo," saying "intense work has generated positive results as we work toward a safer Costa Rica."
