Costa Rica wants to reorganize its chaotic transport system and start decarbonizing its economy with a modern electric train through the country’s main cities.

As part of Costa Rica’s ambitious decarbonization plans, trains would serve as the spinal cord of San José’s transportation system. By 2050, they want it to run solely on electricity.
