MEMBERS of the Central AmericanEpiscopal Secretariat met this week at CasaSan Benito, in Santa Bárbara, Heredia,north of San José.Bishops arrived from throughoutCentral America for the meeting, whichstarted Tuesday and ends today.The bishops discussed topics such asregional migration, the Central AmericanFree-Trade Agreement (CAFTA) with theUnited States, the growing gap betweenrich and poor, public health, violence andsecurity issues, and poverty and exclusion.
