NO Clowning around: Clowns and hundreds of otherGuatemalans marched on the capital Wednesday in commemorationof the 60th anniversary of the “Democratic Revolution,” whenteachers and students of San Carlos University led a revolution tooust former dictator Jorge Ubico in 1944. Marches also tookadvantage of the event to protest free-trade with the United Statesand rising violence.
