JEAN Michel Byron, lead singer of the popular ’80s group Toto, will belt out some of the band’s greatest hits at two performances, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, at Tokú restaurant and bar, in the western San José suburb of Escazú. Byron’s band will be augmented by topnotch Tico musicians such as drummer Carlomagno Araya, saxophonist Geovanny Escalante, pianist Luis Alonso Naranjo, trumpeter Felo Prieto and singers Marta Fonseca and Tatiana Gómez.Tickets cost ¢45,000 ($92) for VIP (all-inclusive, deluxe service) and ¢30,000 ($61) for general admission.
