Copa Airlines announces three new nonstop destinations from Panama

Panamanian carrier Copa Airlines this week announced the launching of three new nonstop flights from Panama to Montreal, Ft. Lauderdale and Guyana.

The airline will fly four times a week to Montreal, Canada, starting on July 2, and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, starting on July 11. Two weekly flights will be offered to Georgetown, Guyana.

In a press release the company said it will add eight new Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet, and increase by 10 percent its seating capacity.

The Tocumen International Airport in Panama City currently is a regional hub, with the most destinations and international flights on the continent.

Copa offers a total of 69 destinations in 30 countries in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.
