One of world’s largest planes visits Costa Rica: Photos

An Antonov An-124, among the world’s largest planes, landed at Juan Santamaría International Airport in Costa Rica on Friday night.

The Ukrainian cargo jet delivered a 30-ton transformer that will be installed at APM Terminals Moín in Limón.

The An-124, flying for Russia’s Volga-Dnepr Airlines, departed Saturday at 10:20 a.m. en route to Houston Bush International Airport.
