Who will see my ad?
Readers of The Tico Times, Costa Rica’s English-language news site since 1956: expats, retirees, investors, remote workers and visitors. Your ad stays in the classifieds section for your whole term.
What does it cost?
Monthly rates: Real Estate $90 a month; Tourism & Hospitality $70 a month; Jobs, Services and For Sale & General $50 a month. Save 10% with a 6-month plan or 20% with a 12-month plan. Every plan is paid in full up front in a single card payment, in US dollars. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
When does my ad start and end?
Your ad starts the day we approve it, within one business day of payment, and runs for the full 3, 6 or 12 months you chose. We email you before it ends so you can renew.
Can I include my phone number, email or website?
Yes. The form has fields for a phone or WhatsApp number and a website, and readers can message you through your ad. Please keep phone numbers and emails out of your photos.
Can I change my ad after it goes live?
Yes. Email sales@ticotimes.net with the changes and we will update it. Changes are reviewed before they appear and may incur a charge.
What kinds of ads do you not accept?
Adult content, weapons, drugs, wild animals, pyramid schemes, and anything misleading or discriminatory. See the full Classified Advertising Terms.
