Costa Rica Organization Bean Voyage launches fellowship for social change

The non-governmental organization Bean Voyage is currently accepting applications for its new youth fellowship program.

The program is meant to “provide young people (ages 20-25) with the resources and mentorship to drive social change in Costa Rica,” according to a press release from the NGO.

Bean Voyage supports women coffee producers, who the organization says own 25% of the world’s coffee farms but regularly face gender-based discrimination.

The youth fellowship “is especially significant for early-stage young social entrepreneurs to support positive impacts in their community while getting valuable experience through mentoring and business training,” Bean Voyage says.

Those interested in becoming Care Fellows should submit an application for the Youth Fellowship by May 20, 2019. Learn more about Bean Voyage at their website, beanvoyage.com.
