Election Eve in San Pedro, Costa Rica

When it comes to politics or football, the Rotonda de la Hispanidad in San Pedro, Montes de Oca, just east of downtown San José, is a classic meeting point that has hosted many a celebration. Tonight is no different, with tomorrow’s voters honking and flag-waving their way around the traffic circle to show their support.

The roundabout is situated in the heart of Citizen Action Party (PAC) territory, which accounts for the sea of red and yellow. Do you have photos of supporters of either party, the PAC or the National Restoration Party (PRN), from around Costa Rica that you would like to share? Share them with us on Facebook or email them to kstanley@ticotimes.net.
