El Salvador Has Good Surf & Good Grub, Too

Dear Nica Times:

Regarding El Salvador Catches Break with Surf Tourism (NT, March 19). Let me tell ya some of the best, freshest seafood can be had at some small shacks on the beach in La Libertad, El Salvador.

You can watch divers free-dive for concha and then have it served to you on the beach by a local mermaid.

The lagostina paella is delicious and the beer is cheap.
