Ministry Announces Loan for Farmers

THE Ministry of Agriculture andLivestock (MAG) has received a loan for$14.4 million from the Inter-AmericanDevelopment Bank to form a program tostrengthen sustainable agriculture andfishing.More than 40,000 farmers will benefitfrom the loan, particularly those dedicatedto organic production and conservation,Agriculture Minister Coto Pacheco said ina statement.
