Infamous Hotel Del Rey Closed By Costa Rica Authorities

The Hotel Del Rey, a well-known hotel, casino, and bar in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica, had a controversial past due to its association with “The Brothers” investment scheme and large number of escorts. It was shut down in 2001 and reopened as a bar/hotel without the casino but recently shut down again for lack of payment. It will forever be remembered as a part of Costa Rica’s wild history.
