In Costa Rica hospital, woman allegedly posing as nurse gives shot to patient, who later dies

Police arrested a woman Tuesday who allegedly entered Hospital San Juan de Dios in San José dressed as a nurse and injected a patient with a shot, which appeared to lead to her death.

Celso Gamboa, vice minister of public security, wrote on his Twitter account that the suspect injected a substance into a patient who later died.

A 63-year-old woman from the northwestern province of Guanacaste was arrested around noon inside the San José hospital.

The alleged attack occurred against a 55-year-old woman who entered the hospital Monday with kidney problems.
