Will drink Starbucks coffee in Costa Rica? Take our poll

World-famous coffee shop Starbucks will soon be serving hot cups of joe in Costa Rica. The first store opens in San José in May. The location and opening date have not yet been announced for the top-selling coffee distributor.

“We are very excited to introduce our high-quality coffee and the Starbuck’s experience to our clients in Costa Rica,” said Pablo Arizmendi-Kalb, vice president and CEO for Starbuck’s Latin America.

Starbucks, the Seattle, Washington-based U.S. company known for its trademark Frappuccinos and other beverages and pastries, will be managed in Costa Rica by Corporación de Franquicias Americanas (Corporation of American Franchises). The food distribution giant also manages chains like Pizza Hut, KFC, Wendy’s and China Wok.
