Who are the Candidates? What are the Platforms?

Dear Nica Times:

Thank you for deciphering the Nica news – not always what I thought had happened due to my limited Spanish.

I (and I think many others) would like to see a listing and/or explanation of the eligible or remaining political parties that will be participating in the upcoming elections.

What is the platform of each party? Do any of the parties adhere and perform according to their platforms and promises? Thanks!

Editor’s Note: Thanks for the suggestion. As the November elections approach, we plan to do feature articles on the candidates and issues in several key municipalities.
