How to get a bone graft in Costa Rica

Are you planning on getting dental implants in Costa Rica?

If you have teeth extracted and plan to receive dental implants the same day, so, you will probably need a bone graft. Oral surgeons place bone grafts to help the new dental implant osseointegrate properly.

Imagine removing a screw from a fencepost. Removing the screw would leave behind a hole. If you tried to put the same size screw back into the hole again, it would likely be loose. By adding a bone graft with the placement of the dental implant, the surgeon increases the success rate of the dental implant. Bone grafting is expensive in the United States and many other countries. This is why American, Canadian and even European patients seek affordable bone grafts in Costa Rica.

Goodness Dental, located in Escazú, near San José, is a leading clinic, offering premium bone grafts at affordable rates. Bone grafting is a complex dental procedure that involves adding bone or bone-like material to the jaw. Some patients receiving dental implants may opt to receive the bone graft at the time of the implant placement. Other patients may choose to wait several months for the bone graft to heal before receiving dental implants. Both processes have high success rates with Goodness Dental.

Under normal circumstances, dentists usually wait between 4 to 6 months after the bone graft surgery before placing the dental implant. However, dental tourists often combine the bone graft with placement of the dental implant to save time. This process, when performed by a skilled oral surgeon has a very high success rate. Less experienced clinics that perform this procedure often see a higher level of dental implant failures. It is important to choose a reputable dental clinic for your care. Goodness Dental is ranked as the #1 dental clinic in Costa Rica by CostaRicaDentalGuide.com and Global Clinic Rating. This clinic is also accredited, ensuring the highest quality of care and safety.
