Tamarindo Art Wave Edition 2017 En-light

Visit Tamarindo beach for En-light. It will take place on the Tamarindo Art Wave’s Blue Line, in Playa Tamarindo. Tamarindo is a famous beach community in Northern Guanacaste, also known for its breathtaking beauty and vibrant restaurant scene.

Tamarindo is a truly exotic paradise that offers all the amenities of a Costa Rican beach town: surf, sand, good food, music and nice people all over. In Tamarindo, you will also find a three and a half kilometer stretch of white sand and warm blue water.

NOVEMBER 29TH – DECEMBER 3RD 2017

Some of the activities the organization would like to create for Tamarindo Art Wave 2017, as they have done in 2016:

The Master Piece

An Artist will create a gigantic art piece, which will embellish and enrich the Tamarindo identity, using only found objects and scrap building materials such as cables, wood, roofing materials and glass.

The Swell Stage

The beachfront Swell Stage will highlight art through rhythm with live musical performances by Debi Nova, Manuel Obregón and many others. There will be contemporary and folkloric dances and a breathtaking aerial silk production blending light.

Virtual Night

Virtual 3D Sculptures will be created simultaneously in several cities throughout the world drawing attention from the worldwide art community.

Artist Exchange

The Artist Exchange will be an opportunity for visitors to connect with the participating artist in local restaurants, hotels, shops and private homes hosting special events specifically for one or more of the festival artists.
