Envision Festival prepares to kick off its seventh edition

While temperature is dropping in the north and some are being surrounded by snow, a getaway to a warm Costa Rican beach might be in order: and just in time, as usual, the Envision Festival, in Uvita, on Costa Rica’s the southern Pacific coast, is taking place in February.

Envision Festival is the biggest music, yoga and permaculture festival in Costa Rica. The last two editions were sold-out, and this year seems to go in the same direction, with some ticket categories already off the market at the time of this writing.

Renowned for its music acts, yoga and other health-related workshops, and unique beach experience, the festival also offers activities including exploring waterfalls, horseback riding, surfing and more, with add-ons allowing visitors to customize their visit.

Tickets range from $333 to $3333, depending on the type of stay you are looking for, and can be purchased here.

This upcoming edition is the seventh, and will be taking place Feb. 23-26. According to festival organizers, headliners include “a rare Central American performance by the legendary New Zealand native Opiuo, as well as Chicago live dance music trio Autograf. Rising Appalachia will serenade the Sol Stage with their unique justice-seeking lyrics delivered by the soulful sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith.”

Also, from the Deep House genre, the Montreal Canadian duo Blond:ish join Acid Pauli and Zach Deputy, who will be performing his well-known reggae/funk/soul fusion jams.

From Costa Rica, the trio Santos & Zurdo will be performing once again. This group, alongside Random Rab, are the only two artists who have played at every Envision Festival since the very first one in 2011.
