Some 164 volunteer hours have been donated to date in a fun and ongoing recycling project sponsored by ATEC. Volunteers go to the recycling center in the small town of Patino once a week to help the new ReciCaribe get on top of the mountain of materials that need to be processed. An ATEC spokesman said only 22 more volunteers are needed to reach the goal of 250 volunteer hours.
