Costa Rica Hosts Conference on Aeronautic Technology

The latest advances in the aeronautics industry were the subjects at hand Monday during the first day of a conference in Costa Rica uniting representatives from Latin America and Spain to share information.

The goal of the five-day event is to improve and update equipment and optimize air services in the region, according to the Public Works and Transport Ministry (MOPT).

The initiative is supported by the governments of Costa Rica and Spain and emphasizes innovation, development and research of aeronautic technology.

Aeronautics experts came to Costa Rica from Mexico, Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil, Panama, Cuba and Haiti.
