Banco Nacional Accepts U.S. Social Security Deposits

State-owned bank Banco Nacional has announced it now accepts direct deposits of U.S. Social Security pensions for U.S. citizens living in Costa Rica.

According to a statement from the bank, a U.S. retiree must have or open a Banco Nacional account and fill out an authorization form to have his or her pension automatically deposited into the Costa Rica account.
