Costa Rica's central government has agreed to adjust the upcoming August coronavirus measures. 

The Costa Rican-American Chamber of Commerce on Monday asked that the government allow commercial flights from the United States as soon as possible in order to help revive the tourism sector. 

The proposed construction of a landfill in the canton of Mora, 20 kilometers west of San José, has angered local residents who say they will fight to protect their natural resources. But time is running out.
