Tico costume designer presents a ‘galactic parade’ to kick off arts festival

The Intergalactic royalty of the future will like ribbons, neon-colored wigs and lots of glitter; at least that is what Tico costume designer Dino Real seems to think. Back from working as a costumer in New Orleans, Real has designed a new collection called Astral Glamour, featuring wild, futuristic garb that, according to his website, seeks to subvert the mundane.

Some of the collection was on display during a parade at La Sabana Park in western San José on Friday. In case you missed it, here are 15 photos to show you what your great grandchildren will be wearing while living in space.
