Quepos Tidings

It’s that time of the year again to renew your post office box. The cost for yearly rental is ¢1,800 (about $3.20) if you pay in January, or ¢2,700 ($4.70) if you pay in February. You will lose your P.O. box if you don’t pay by March 1.

The post office offers many services to the community, including EMS, a safe, fast, national and international delivery service, as well as a fax service and stamps for collectors.

They will also place flyers in the mailboxes for ¢20 ($0.03) each. And now you can pick up your cédulas and passports right at the office.

Liquid Lounge is having a few year-end events, including a blowout year-end party, flashback-to-the-’80s nights and a neon body-painting party. For more information, call 2777-5158.

Welcome to Marina Ocampo, the new director or the Titi Conservation Alliance. She is replacing Ingrid Kuegeman, who is returning to the United States. She will be missed.
