NEW YORK – A Salvadoran immigrant who saw his work hours cut because of the recession will no longer have to worry about money after winning the $26 million first prize in the New York Lottery.
Isabel Antonio Zelaya, 46, bought what turned out to be the winning ticket in the Mega Millions March 13, at a grocery store in Long Island, after finishing his night shift at Coral Graphics printing.
“I had a premonition I was going to win,” he said.
