Tihany Spectacular To Dazzle San José

Tihany Spectacular, a dance and circus group internationally known for its exciting performances, brilliantly costumed dancers and thousands of lights, is coming to San José Feb. 7.

Some 70 dancers from 20 different countries will provide a Las Vegas-style, two-and-a-half-hour show featuring 18 exciting acts, such as one dancer balancing on the head of another while they walk up and down stairs.

The show will be offered in the southeastern Zapote district’s bullring for approximately two weeks before continuing its Central American tour in Panama.

Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 and 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and noon, 4 and 7:30 p.m. Sundays. Admission prices will range from ¢7,500 to ¢24,000 ($14 to $44), with discounts for Credomatic cardholders.

Tickets are available through www.todoticketcr.com and its points of sale at the following malls: Multiplaza del Este and Terramall, both east of San José, Multicentro Desamparados in southern San José, Multiplaza Escazú in the western suburbs and Paseo de las Flores in Heredia, north of the capital.
