BAC San José Bank Opens in Tamarindo

BAC San José has become the firstprivate bank to operate in the rapidlygrowing coastal community ofTamarindo, in the northwestern provinceof Guanacaste.The BAC branch is a “rapibanco” –it offers most banking services, but in asmaller building, with fewer tellers.Services offered include checking,savings and debit card accounts; loans;traveler’s checks; and bill payment,among other transactions. The branch’shours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Twenty-four hour ATM service is alsoprovided.The new branch, which officiallyopened July 2, is located in the PlazaConchal Centro Commercial, next toHotel Zulimar.
