Tax Plan’s Impact on Tourism And Real Estate Explained

THE Costa Rican Tourism Institute(ICT) and the National Tourism Chamber(CANATUR) are holding free seminars inboth English and Spanish on how the PermanentFiscal Reform Package will affecttourism and real estate if approved. The seminarswill be offered Aug. 11 at the LionsClub of Atenas, northwest of San José.Topics will include the global tax; personaland business property taxes, for residentsand non-residents; and the value–added tax.The seminar in Spanish begins at 8a.m. and in English at 2 p.m. For moreinformation, call 256-0486 or e-mail msalom@pnca.com.
