U.S. citizens Gerard Joseph Latullippe, 65, and Elwyn Ralph Jacobs, 82, will be extradited to Costa Rica to face charges of investment fraud, according to the daily Al DÃa.
Latullippe, a fugitive for more than four years, was finally during a multi-jurisdictional sting operation at his home in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
Latullippe is accused of operating a hedge fund that allegedly defrauded investors of nearly $100 million.
Jacobs was arrested two days later in Florida. He was sought for establishing a fake business that offered to pay off interest, as well as for an alleged plot to murder an associate by the last name Mackey.
