For the third year running, grants will be awarded to Nicaraguan refugee students to study at the Latin American University for Science and Technology (ULACIT).
Applications are open to any Nicaraguan student with an academic average of 85% and a refugee card issued by the Migration and Immigration Administration.
The admissions officers are seeking students with strong academic performance, leadership potential and co-curricular involvement, such as volunteering, sport, student government and the arts.
The grants provided by ULACIT range from 30% to 100%.
Students from either their last year of high school or those currently enrolled in university may apply.
