National Stadium rocked by more than two dozen Tico bands

More than 25,000 people came out to Saturday’s 10-hour concert at the National Stadium celebrating Costa Rica’s bands, according to officials. The National Music Festival featured 27 bands and soloists that played a variety of music ranging from rock and pop to reggae and electronica.

Attendees passed in and out of the concert grounds throughout the day to catch their favorite bands. Time’s Forgotten started off the festivities at 1 p.m. Other celebrated Costa Rican bands performing at the show included Editus, Sight of Emptiness, Gandhi, Ojo de Buey, Sonámbulo and Garbanzos.
