Costa Rica ‘Pura vida’ meets ‘live long and prosper’

We’ve written before about “Hacia las estrellas: Costa Rica en la NASA,” a book detailing the stories of 13 Costa Ricans who reached for the stars and fulfilled their dreams of working for NASA.

Co-author Bruce Callow recently finished a Canadian tour promoting the book. (Callow is also a contributor to The Tico Times.) The tour ended at the Vul-con Star Trek Convention, which takes place every July in the town of Vulcan, about an hour-and-a-half drive from Calgary.

Live long and prosper!
