Dozens of motorcyclists gathered Wednesday in front of the National Insurance Institute (INS) in Barrio Amón and rode from there to the Legislative Assembly to protest proposed regulations prohibiting more than one person on a bike. “We are paying for a vehicle circulation permit that says two people can ride the motorcycle,” driver Edwin Coto said. Another motorcyclist, Jorge Fernández, said: “If they want to avoid crime, they should increase security with more gun control.”
