New hotel in Guanacaste offers jobs for 300 people

The Andaz Peninsula Papagayo hotel, part of the Hyatt chain, will launch Dec. 20. This week, hotel management announced that the facilities will be hiring 300 employees from the northwestern province of Guanacaste.

The hotel needs bilingual staff for reception, guest services and the spa, as well as administrative areas, bars and three restaurants.

Hotel management is also seeking for personnel for security, construction, cooking, cleaning, laundry and other operative areas.

“The hotel already started the recruitment process through job fairs in Liberia, but we are still searching for staff,” the company announced in a press release.

The Andaz Peninsula Papagayo has 153 rooms, nine spa treatment rooms, 8,200 square feet of flexible meeting space, two swimming pools, a gym and three theme restaurants.
