Highway Between San José and Limón to Reopen at Noon Wednesday

Route 32, the roadway that connects San José with the Caribbean port of Limón, will reopen Wednesday at noon, the National Roadway Council (CONAVI) announced Tuesday. The highway was closed Monday so that workers and engineers could assess and repair potentially dangerous sections of the roadway as it passes through the mountainous terrain within Braulio Carrillo National Park.
