Police Confiscate Crack Cocaine in Heredia

Costa Rica’s National Police confiscated more than 80 crack rocks on Tuesday from a woman in Guararí de Heredia, northwest of San José.

According to police, the woman, whose last name is Robles, approached a light blue Nissan Sentra that was occupied by “several suspiciously behaving men.” Officials halted the car and detained Robles, searched the scene and found more than 80 crack rocks on the woman.

Police did not find any paraphernalia inside the Nissan or in the possession of the vehicle’s passengers.

The case has been presented to Heredia’s prosecuting attorney, who will determine further action.
