Recycling Expo in Costa Rica

In hopes of highlighting the economic benefits of recycling and promoting the reuse of materials, Costa Rica’s Red de Reciclaje (recycling network) will host the second national Recycling Exposition and Symposium on Oct. 4 and 5 in the Hotel Crowne Plaza Corobicí.

The event will bring together companies, municipal environmental auditors, non-governmental organizations and others who will exchange recycling experiences and discuss good waste treatment practices.

The exposition will host 15 conferences during the two days. Two internationally recognized expositors, Laerty Dudas from Brazil and Elías Vanegas from Mexico will speak about recycling experiences in their country.

For more information on the symposium and to see the full agenda, visit Red de Reciclaje’s website at: www.redcicla.org/simposio.
