Time Out Tavern Toasted

Time Out Tavern in the western San José suburb of Escazú lost its kitchen and immediate surroundings to fire May 2. The owners, employees and customers gathered there to watch the Kentucky Derby were able to exit the building with no injuries.

Owners Steven, Jae and Glenn would like to thank the fire departments of Pavas and Santa Ana for their quick response.

Without their professionalism, all would have been lost. They’d also like to express their appreciation to their excellent staff, valued clients and the fabulous folks who pitched in to help with cleanup.

Sandwiches can now be ordered for delivery from a limited menu at 8843-4737. The owners hope to have the bar portion of the restaurant open in a few weeks.
