Alemán Versus Murillo in 2011 Presidential Contest?

In the hypothetical situation that Arnoldo Alemán faces First Lady Rosario Murillo in the 2011 presidential elections, the former president says he’s sure he could win.

“I’d need a crystal ball” to know if that’s going to happen, “but the candidate who says he can’t win shouldn’t run, so I’d say immediately that I’d win,” Alemán told The Nica Times.

“But it would be easier to beat Daniel,” Alemán said, pausing for dramatic effect, “because he can’t run!”
