Boy George, the flamboyant pop star of the 1980s, brought his glam culture rock to San José in September, wowing the tiny crowd of 200 with his turquoise eye shadow, brilliant red hat, glittery jacket, suggestive gestures and iconic songs, such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me?”
It was the first time the 47-year-old, who earlier this month was found guilty in London of illegally imprisoning a male escort by handcuffing him to a wall, had been to Costa Rica.
