Julieta Venegas Concert Rescheduled

A concert by Mexican singer and Grammy award winner Julieta Venegas originally set for Aug. 8 (TT, July 27) has been changed to Aug. 25. The popular singer will still offer fans a taste of musical “Lemon and Salt,” the name of her latest album, just later than planned.

The time and location of the event – 8 p.m. at the Palacio de los Deportes in Heredia, north of San José – remain the same.

Concert organizers said the change was out of their hands, explaining that equipment and instruments necessary for the show were not all delivered on time. Those who will not be able to attend the concert on the new date can return their tickets to the box office for a refund.

Tickets can be bought online at www.mundoticket.com or by calling 207-2025. Prices range from ¢13,000-20,000 ($25-38).
