The Feterman piano duo, sisters Sara and Gertrudis, both University of Costa Rica (UCR) music professors, recently performed classical and Costa Rican pieces at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, D.C., during an IDB concert series.

The talented sisters played works by Mozart, Grieg, Debussy, De Falla, Vargas Calvo and Escalante Macaya, as well as “Estampas Guanacastecas,” Héctor Zúñiga’s traditional piece from the northwestern province of Guanacaste.
