National Chamber of Tourism To Hold Tourism Congress

The National Chamber of Tourism  (CANATUR) will hold the Eighth NationalTourism Congress Sept. 5-6 at the Hotel Real Intercontinental in Escazú, west of San José.

Held every other year, the congress addresses tourism issues facing Costa Rica.

This year, the congress will be called “Costa Rica: A Sustainable Destination.”

This year’s event will examine the national plan for sustainable tourism development, the general law of tourism, the need to devise a global marketing strategy, training investment, and corporate social responsibility, among other topics, according to a statement from CANATUR president Gonzalo Vargas.
