Alternative Films Now Showing in Terramall Multiplex

THE multiplex Cinépolis in Terramall,on the highway to Cartago, eastof San José, has added alternativefilms from around the world to itsHollywood-laden marquees, as a resultof a partnership with independent-filmvenue Sala Garbo, in San José. One ofCinépolis’ theaters is now dedicatedexclusively to showing the same filmsbeing shown at Sala Garbo.“Residents of Curridabat, Cartago,Tres Ríos and San Pedro no longerhave an excuse for not enjoying goodfilms,” said Nicollette Baker of SalaGarbo.Cinépolis offers a total of 15 theaters,three of which it calls deluxe or“VIP,” in addition to multiple foodoptions, including a sushi bar andcrêpe shop.
