THE town of Parrita, on thePacific coast between Jacó andQuepos, is celebrating its traditionalMule Festival through Jan. 30, inhonor of this sturdy hybrid animal.This weekend’s activities will includebullfights, a mule parade, concerts, akaraoke festival and a traditional mulerace to wrap things up on Sunday.Events take place at the fairgrounds inthe center of town.
